AVOID - Terrible sham service The pest control person arrived without a ladder, holding a bucket of pellets. I told him he needed to get into the roof. He asked if I had a ladder. Luckily I did. However, he did not get into the roof, he merely popped his head in and literally threw bait through the roof. He then sprayed sections of the ceiling where I had seen ants. This dripped onto kitchen benches and into my clothes basket in the bedroom. He did not ask me to leave the house. When I pressed him on the product he was using and its safety (my partner is asthmatic), he said "It's strong". He then charged me an extra $100 over the quoted price ($400 in total) The ants are worse than ever. When I made my initial complaint, I was assured I would be contacted by the complaints department before the end of the day. I wasn't. I tried again multiple times over several days and no-one ever called me back. I called CAV. Once I had explained I had contacted CAV, I then got a call back. They simply offered to send the same guy out to do the job again. I demanded a refund as the work was not carried out in a safe and thorough manner. I did not receive a refund. I have since had another business attend to the issue - half the price, professional, safe and thorough.
