Basic Trailers is a family owned and operated trailer manufacturing business, but more than that, it is a fortunate stroke of serendipity for me. I remember going to purchase a new 8x5 trailer. To my surprise, everyone in Adelaide had been allotted a dreaded 4-8 week wait, so I started exploring for basic trailers online and to my realization, a number of sellers out there were in actual importers from China, selling extremely low quality trailers.

Having been in the heavy transport manufacturing industry for the last 15 years, I thought of stepping forward and putting my life savings into manufacturing the most useful and genuinely Australian trailers that could successfully address people's needs.”
