Our Philosophy Balwyn East Kindergarten aims to assist children’s positive entry into organised education by providing a warm, supportive, challenging and extending environment. Our philosophy is that children learn through PLAY ~ it lays at the heart of the kindergarten curriculum. The development of skills and competencies is promoted largely through play. Play is the right of every child and it is our role as educators to use play an an avenue of learning physically, socially, emotionally and intellectually. The children are encouraged to explore and experiment in a carefully planned environment as it is through play and experimentation that they learn. We aim to provide a well-balanced, interesting program of activities which gives each child the scope to achieve their full potential.
