Baldivis Veterinary Hospital

It was founded in 1984, and in 2002 moved to its present location, a purpose-built veterinary hospital in Baldivis Road, Baldivis.
Baldivis Vet Hospital is well-equipped, and boasts the latest diagnostic equipment. There are three surgeries, a dedicated X-ray room, a laboratory, laundry and pharmacy.
Baldivis Vet Hospital treats cats and dogs, and has facilities for treating each species in isolation. Equipment includes digital x-rays, ultrasound machines, laboratory equipment, video endoscopes, paediatric bronchoscopes, otoscopes for examining ears and opthalmoscopes for examining eyes. The hospital also has facilities for intensive care, intravenous infusion pumps fluid administration and a humidity crib. The hospital is also equipped to perform orthopaedic and abdominal surgery. It also has facilities to perform extensive dental treatment.
Baldivis Vet Hospital also specialises in equine veterinary treatment. It has a specially constructed loading area for the handling of horses. There are two large horse examination areas with horse stocks to restrain patients during treatment.
Other equipment for the treatment of horses include 3 X-ray machines, a digital X-ray processor, three ultrasound machines, a video endoscope for respiratory work, a gastric endoscope for the detection of gastric ulcers, and a laboratory and pharmacy.
Baldivis Vet Hospital has a team of six veterinarians, headed by Dr Robert Davies, BSc, BVMS (Hons), Member of Australian College of Veterinary Scientists (Equine Medicine), Certificate Equine Stud Medicine, Member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons.
