After many knee back leg and hip surgeries over the years I have never met any patients who have had spinal surgery and been happy with the results Some had multiple spinal surgeries In 2015 after waiting 7 months for appointment with extreme pain I was examined and had TLIF surgery immediately It was doubtful that was the correct operation 4 screws 2 plates and a cage Unfortunately I was right Worst op ever and a failure 3 weeks in hospital An arrogant surgeon with no communication skills Roll forward to 2022 finally could not move from chair one morning Transported by Ambulance to emergency at John Flynn private hospital How lucky I am being admitted that way as my nerves were dead and dying Thank god I met dr Mario Zotti The last thing wanted was an operation A nerve specialist attended and a conference with dr Zotti Attempt to save nerves and have a spinal decompression laminectomy or wheelchair the rest of my life Already had developed severe drop foot the preceding 2 days This was the operation should have had in 2015 Still have plates and screws but the cage never attached Spinal decompression completed next day then 10 days in hospital and knew the operation was successful immediately 7 months later am walking again with some assistance from the wheely walker Am determined to walk again properly soon Dr Zotti is experienced skilled and caring knowledgeable and communicates extremely well I recommend this surgeon to anyone contemplating spinal surgery 😊 thank you Dr Mario Zotti - thank you 🙏 Tonyc
