Dr. Abdul Azam completed his Bachelor of Dental Surgery at the University of Adelaide in 1989. He worked as a house surgeon at Adelaide Dental Hospital and then returned to Fiji, his country of origin. After serving in the public hospital in Fiji, Dr Azam migrated to Auckland, New Zealand where he worked in private practices and eventually became a successful partner in a Accident and Emergency Dental clinic. Dr Azam migrated to Brisbane in 1998 and initially worked for Queensland Health before buying the Stones Corner practice in 1999. The practice was then relocated to its current location in November 2008 to enable easier access for patients of all ages including those on wheelchairs. Dr Azam is a member of the Australian Dental Association and the Australian Society of Endodontology (Queensland branch). He keeps current with the latest advances in the dental field by attending regular seminars and workshops. With experiences in the dental field for over 20 years, Dr Azam is a very capable clinician who can tailor make dental solutions for each individual patient at very affordable fees.
