The Australian Equine and Livestock Events Centre (AELEC) is the most unique livestock events complex in Australia.
AELEC attracts about 7000 competitors, 9000 horses and 16, 000 head of cattle each year. That equates to about 120, 000 visitor nights and makes it a major economic contributor to the Tamworth region.
Designed to cater for large events and the largest of its kind in Australia, event organisers and competitors find AELEC's facilities to be a world-class standard and ideal for their equine disciplines.
In addition to equine breeding and sporting association shows and clinics, AELEC hosts a number of other events including the Tamworth Show, cattle sales, major trade shows, indoor motorcycle racing, motorcycle rallies.
