The Australian DogTrainers Academy is run by Melbourne dog trainer Hans van Heesbeen, a long time passionate and accredited trainer and assessor (Cert IV Trainer and Assessor). After making a career change in 2002, gradually moving into this fascinating industry Hans is developer of all our course materials, including all our online materials and is still learning even today. The Academy was founded to meet a need for a dog trainer school, training dog trainers with course outcomes that deliver what is required. Courses may however vary slightly due to operational set-up.
