I really really want to find the North Fitzroy Post Office amusing but the problem is I am treated with contempt every time I go there and my fragile ego suffers.... It is not just that it takes about five times as long as it reasonably should, nor that they regularly lose items... it is the absolute failure to treat customers with human dignity and to ensure that confidentiality is considered entirely without merit.

If service was any slower it would be going backwards. It's best to have a sense of humour when going to the North Fitzroy post office it's a comical experience. The lady behind the counter never stops talking and the older man who looks like he'd rather be anywhere else than there moves in slow motion. When you finally get out it's a sigh of relief.
