Austral Alloys Australia Pty Ltd, Bankstown, NSW

Austral Alloys Pty Ltd was incorporated in January 1993. The three Director/Shareholders purchased the foundry "Bobtown Pty Ltd" (previously "Peninsula Foundry") and commenced operations on site at Brookvale NSW in March that year. In July 2000 Austral Alloys acquired the business and premises of "Bramhall Foundry Pty Ltd" and relocated the entire Brookvale operation to the Bankstown site. The move provided the ideal opportunity for in depth logistics planning drawing on the production experience of the previous 7 years. New foundry and handling equipment was acquired and installed in keeping with a logical and efficient flow path for casting production. In February 2010, Austral Alloys purchased "All Cast Products", bringing the production and casting knowledge across and merging it with the Bankstown operation.
