The Association places particular emphasis on encouraging the preservation and display of arms & associated items having cultural or historical significance to Australia, however, the Association and its members actively pursue the collection of Arms & Militaria of all types and origins, as permitted by law.
Other functions and purposes of the Association are to actively pursue bulk purchases of items that would be of interest to the members and to make representations on behalf of Collectors of Arms, to elected representatives, governments and other representatives and the media to safeguard the interests of the members, to promote the bonafides of Collecting Arms, and to educate the general public and persons or groups interested in the historical significance of arms, accessories and associated items.
