Step back into our colonial past ... only 30 mins from Noosa ... at Noosa’s historic Apollonian Hotel. Originally constructed in the heyday of the 1870’s Gympie Gold Rush at Apollonian Vale in Gympie, the historic hotel was carefully moved in 1987 to the picturesque village of Boreen Point on the shores of Lake Cootharaba. Set on 3½ acres and surrounded by rainforest gardens, waving palms and rolling lawns, the hotel shows the charm and elegance of colonial past with its wide, cool verandahs and open fireplaces. The Apollonian connection to our colonial days is continued in our unique accommodation. Experience the delights of a type of accommodation well known to our grandparents. Guest accommodation is in separate restored railway quarters, providing 10 budget accommodation rooms with communal kitchen and bathroom facilities. Sunday is a special day for lunch when a wood fired spit-roast is prepared in our rustic bush kitchen. The shady beer garden, which is an ideal place to eat and spend the afternoon, also features live entertainment. For a refreshing drink our hotel is open from 10am to midnight.
