It began operating in 1983 in Runcorn, Queensland, and was owned and operated by Andy and Kathy Robertson. In 1990 they moved their home and business to Acacia Ridge where their business became known for the branded rocket ship in their front yard. As the business expanded, Andy and Kathy purchased a workshop in Coopers Plains, where Andy Robertson Electrical has been ever since. In 2010, Andy and Kathy handed over the business to their son, Blair, a highly qualified and dedicated technician. Blair Robertson now runs Andy Robertson Electrical and employs three office staff, four tradesmen and an apprentice, among them his two brothers-in-law.
