Established in 1966, Alfred Lewis Engineering has built its’ business through a commitment to quality, service, investing in the latest technology and partnering with its’ customers across markets a diverse as low pressure gas distribution, medical instruments, industrial process equipment, transport components, mining equipment, packaging equipment, printing, non-passenger automotive aftermarket and machine tools. Alfred Lewis’ strength comes from being able to deliver the standard of service and quality demanded by such a diverse market base. Since the introduction of the first CNC machine in 1981, Alfred Lewis has been committed to regularly upgrading equipment to the latest CNC technology as part of the overall business strategy. Currently, the company’s CNC capability extends across nine CNC turning centres and nine CNC machining centres. For non-production “specials” and proto-typing work, a comprehensive manual milling/turning capability is available. The growth of Alfred Lewis has resulted from the Company forging strong long term relationships with its customers based upon quality, delivery and a commitment to customer service. We approach customers’ needs with a solutions based focus. This spans the breadth of our customer’s business from designing a piece of equipment to suit a particular need, eg. a specialised pipe-cutting tool for the gas industry, to holding stock for key customers.
