Aesop's Attic opened its doors on September 4th 1992 in an attic above Figs Health & Fine Foods in High Street Kyneton, Victoria.
When the business grew Aesop's Attic was shifted to 24a High Street, Kyneton
In August 2002 the McKenna family, who have remained in Kyneton since the late 1840's took over the business.
Company description
In 2010 Aesop’s Attic began to stock Second Hand and Collectable books and now have an extensive range
Special Orders are one of Aesop’s Attic Bookshops specialities.
There is a diverse range of cards some of which have been hand painted by local artists.
A sustainable blue gum plantation was planted on the owners farm as carbon offset for the paper used in books.
