Abri Home for the Aged, Southport, QLD

The home is made up of six separate residential wings. Levels are connected by lifts and ramps. Communal areas are comfortable and hold a variety of activities and functions, but there's no pressure. You can be as private or outgoing as you want.

A number of health professionals regularly visit the home, including a physiotherapist, podiatrist, dentist, audiologist, speech therapist and dietician. There's an onsite hairdresser available by appointment.

Maintaining the leisure and lifestyle interests of residents is all part of the program. We take a collaborative approach, inviting feedback and discussions on what types of activities you might like included.

The community benefits from having an onsite laundry and full commercial kitchen, providing freshly prepared meals served in the communal dining room, catering for special dietary needs and meals to mark special occasions or cultural events.
