Alec has some 40 years continuous experience in the building industry.
After obtaining his trade qualifications in 1975, he was first licensed with the NSW Blds Lic. Brd. in 1977 as a ‘Builder - Full Contractor’; BLB Lic. 19378. In 1997 he replaced this with a Full Building Licence (NSW Office of Fair Trading Lic. 61985C). In 2004, he obtained a ‘Building Consultants Licence’ (NSW OFT Bld. Consultancy Lic. BC188) as well as registration with the NBPR [Nat. Building Prof. Register] as a Building Professional -Lv. 2 (Cert. # 7788R - Aust. Inst. of Bldg).
Alec has also been an Accredited Expert with NSW Office of Fair Trading since 2001 and has specialized in ADR work, as well as forensic investigations & Reporting for Contractual Compliance &/or 'Defective Work' assessment & Expert Witness + Reports, Dilapidation Reports etc, providing technical support to clients Legal Advisers, etc, as instructed in their respective Briefs, and brings with him a wealth of experi
