AB Smash Car Repairs commenced trading in 1979 in Morley then relocated its premises in Bayswater around 1998. In 2003, Jimmy Mungar purchased the business then located at 5 Irvine Street. His vision was to propel the workshop to a much greater level making it work to its full capacity. He has more than 25 years of experience in the automotive industry. He is a fully qualified spray painter with a Diploma of Automotive from The Automotive Training Australia (ATA). He is also member of both IAME and SAE Australasia. In 2007, with the increase in work load, he decided to purchase the building at 29 Irvine Street and AB Smash Repairs was relocated to the new premises. The workshop possess a full down draft spray booth, pulling bench, Computerised paint System and other equipment necessary to uplift the quality of finish jobs.
