My wife recently bought a packet of Thomson's Deli Cooking bacon from Coles in Banksia Grove WA. What a disappointment. Apart from being under the weight of 1 KG, the presentation of the bacon was disgusting. When purchasing bacon one expects to get properly cut rasher that can be easily separated to allow us to freeze 2 or 3 rashers at a time for later use. The packet we got looked like a heap of off cuts all stuck together with only 4 small rashers . Cheap and nasty. Wont be buying again. Also unsuccessfully tried to log on to the quoted website .

I have been buying Thomson's deli bacon for some time now. I always have to sort through the packets to find the leanest bacon. I failed this time. I had to throw out nearly 250gms of fat. Not only has the price risen significantly, but the wastage is now adding to the cost. Nowhere can I find an email address to contact them. So that's the last time I buy anything of Thomsons

Purchased Thompson deli Cooking Bacon and i made cabonara with it like i have in the past and while eating it the second mouthful broke my tooth on a white piece of bone.. it's also tasteless and uneatable I won't be buying it ever again buyer beware

Here here I bought a packet and it is rubbish I would be embarrassed to serve this up to guests as bacon for breakfast.

I recently bought a packet of Thomson's Deli “Honey Ham Sliced” with a use by date of 24/01/2024. Sad to say the slimy look and feel of the product on 20/01/2024 left me no choice but to throw out 2 of the 4 packets. Total waste of money. Will never buy this brand again.

I bought the Thomsons Deli 500gm shredded chicken. Thought $7 from Coles what a bargain. Only to discover it was slimy processed rubbish. It wasnt breast or thigh, it was everything. Nothing but disgusting luncheon meat advertised as shredded chicken (you can't see through the packet of course). I feel sick after having it on a sandwich. I saw in another post, someone worried after they fed it to their dog, because the dog had seizures. Coles needs to get this off their shelves

Agree I just thought it was normal shredded chicke like every thing else that is sold as shredded chicken they should name it shredded chicken loaf I will not buy again or put a little clear windows on so you can see product

I agree the Thompson shredded chicken is rubbish,I also thought I was getting a bargain at $6.50 but when I opened the packet I was horrified by what I found inside. It was not shredded chicken but chopped up slimy bits of processed food that looked like chicken loaf but tasted nothing like it. It was very salty . I gave my dog a taste and he wouldn’t eat it.

I recently purchased a 1kg Thomson's Deli cooking Bacon from Coles Supermarket in Horsham Vic. I was terribly disappointed with the product. It was so fatty I discarded nearly half the packet because of the fat content. The slices varied from thick to thin and little pieces. I also noted that it was made in Australia from at least 17% Australian ingredients, Really, haven't we enough pork in this country to produce better quality products. Where on earth did this bacon come from? I certainly will not be purchasing this bacon again. I will also report this to the store manager in Horsham. A very dissatisfied customer to say the least. Purchased the 1kg pack of cooking bacon on Monday 31/7/23. When preparing dinner that night, a bacon dish, we discovered that over 1/3 of the product was unusable, just as described by Pauline above. 385gm in fact. The quality of what we could use was great as always but we are not inclined to ever purchase this product again as when you do the numbers of usable product for the price it costs over $13.00kg. Not good value for money. I even took photo's to remind me what not to look for. Would like someone to contact to discuss

I've now tried several packets of the middle rashers variety and find the product good. Not overloaded with salt and nitrate like other brands I've eaten. Thomson's tastes like bacon should.

We have been buying Thomson bacon from coles munno para west for the last 12 months however the last 3 1kg bags we have bought are rubbish very very disappointing the packets are filled with scrappy pieces hidden under a few good pieces So lift your game or lose business Shirley 🙈

I have used this bacon many times and I have decided that I will Not use it again unless they pick up the standards. 1KG and I throw out 387grams in fat and unusable product this is not rinds just fat and scrap which was hidden amongst the good pieces of bacon I would like you to contact me on is site with some sort of result
