Scam - they find travelers in perth to clean houses then dont pay them. Reporting to the police and media

I use to work with Empire Cleaning Specialists since a while. What can I say ? except that this company combines professionalism, security, punctuality, kindness and especially a high level of cleanliness ! exactly what business and personal should have for cleaning services. but which is becoming increasingly rare in WA and whole Australia.. A bit surprised following the pasts reviews feeling like I have to share my experiences with Empire Cleaning Specialists and it’s owner : Rodey Leano Owner who for me is organised, available, very diligent and involved in his work I am only working with Empire Cleaning Specialists for my businesses and home And all of the people I have recommended Rodey’s cleaning services are more than satisfied. A good 5 stars rating well deserved !

Rodney Leano is th one I've dealt with and when I requested not to use a cleaner that I didn't feel was worth the price he was charging he threatened me saying I would suffer consequences. I wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy. He is a threatening scammer.

If I could give this company zero stars I would. The cleaners are o-k, but it’s the manager who will drive this business into the ground. Every time I I have used this company, rodney has text me asking to come at a different time, merely hours before they are due. I also have it on good authority, from personal experience and from others, that they are always late. But, using empire cleaning services this time will DEFINITELY be my last. I do not expect to be messed around heavily and then abused by anyone, ever. I arranged cleaners to come (a day before) at a certain time. Without fail ,Rodney messaged to see if the time could be changed. Then when i could not be home earlier, Rodney had to check with the cleaner to see if they could still do the job- like Rodney never booked it at all, despite assurances that he had. The original time came and went and the cleaner never showed up. I had to wait around at home whilst in the middle of moving and packing and after working a ten hour shift- with so many jobs to do, constantly having to instigate conversation with Rodney questioning what was going on. Finally an hour later, after still no news on the original cleaner, a new cleaner was organised to come by the next hour. That time came and they still weren’t here. When this next team still was not there at the agreed upon time, I again messaged Rodney. He said to give them longer. By the time the cleaners arrived it had been hours of waiting when I was trying to do so many jobs, which is the reason I organised this in the first place. I asked Rodney if I could have a discount for the inconvenience and he said no. I said what was going on was ‘poor management’- and it is. Just as I was finally able to allow the cleaners into my apartment they got a call. Rodney was on loudspeaker and literally screaming at them to get ‘money off me first’. As though I had done something wrong! I spoke up and said I had the money and I would not pay until after. After all I’ve always paid (and tipped) and he knows my phone and my address. At this point rodney literally started swearing down the line profusely at me and ordered his cleaners to go. They were as appalled and shocked as me and could not apologise enough for his unprofessional and abusive behaviour. I told him I would leave this review and he only became increasingly abusive. This is a degree of unprofessionalism that I feel fortunate enough to have never ever experienced in my life before, and I hope to never again. It was so bad I feel compelled to leave this review. AVOID THIS SERVICE AT ALL COSTS ,unless you want to invite uncertainty of booking times, tardiness and atrocious abuse into your life
