W also run a weekend retreat that covers all aspects of Ceremonies other than Weddings. The retreat is a weekend away with like minded people - we have lots of fun whislt studying the ceremonies along with other activites that make for a wonderful time had by all. This course has proven a big success over the last nine years. The type of ceremonies covered include: Funerals Commitments - for committed couples - including same sex Renewal of Vows Teenage Transitions Leaving a home - often used for the elderly House warming Naming Significant birthdays Pet deaths Retirement - planned and redundancies etc. An added bonus is a Creative Writing workshop to help with all Ceremonies, a Shiatsu demonstration, Tai Chi and Hawaiin flying at the beach.

Are you wanting to become a quality Celebrant? Then look no further.... The qualification for Marriage Celebrants Certificate IV in Celebrancy (CHC42608) is being offered in class and via distance learning. The Celebrants Training College is NOT an RTO it does however offer accredited courses in partnership with Academic & Vocational Training Pty Ltd RTO 91070. Training and assessment is conducted in Agreement with Academic & Vocational Training Pty Ltd RTO 91070 who will issue all Statements of Attainment and qualifications.

The mentoring program goes for 12 months from the date you book in. We will carefully match a Highly Qualified Celebrant with the Student/Graduate. Mentoring has been around for many years in our industry but we feel there is a need to formalise it. We will use a careful matching process that will look at the needs of both individuals to ensure success and satisfaction. This program is a year long process. You decide how much or how little you want to gain from the mentoring. We meet with you to map this out so there is a clear path for the 12 months. The program will be written and planned with you to ensure the best outcome for the 12 months.

Here is a chance to touch up on your legal knowledge. For those of you who are not so confident in the legals, have not studied the legal component for some time, or have realised that your original training was not as good as you hoped - we spend an entire day going over the legal requirements. This then ensures you are up to date with the legal requirements and goes over all aspects to ensure you handle the legal component of every ceremony accurately and confidently. We give you a 50 page legal manual along with other resources and spend the day going over all types of legal topics including over 20 common scenarios, and we complete the forms in class.

This is a comprehensive course that provides you with the necessary knowledge required to be a successful Funeral Celebrant. The course will give you the required skills to enable you to be well trained when working with the bereaved, and to confidently perform a funeral ceremony. The manual is in excess of 100 pages and is full of excellent material and resources to work through this course.
