In Madhubani art, fishes symbolizes prosperity, fertility and good luck. Painted by artist Rakesh Paswan, the art work was completed over a period of 5-6 days. Made on handmade paper, the painting is a combination of beautiful colors like blue, red and pink. The black outline has been made using lamp soot.The red color is derived from the bark of Peepal juice, the blue color is from the seeds of Sikkot and the green color is made from leaves of apple tree and Tilcoat.
