PACT is an abbreviation and a scientific term that stands for Photodynamic Antimicrobial Therapy. PACT works by applying a photosensitiser gel to the nail and then light is applied to the nail which activates the gel. This activation releases energy which induces fungal cell death without harming surrounding tissue. The initial treatment regime is a session a week for 3 weeks. A review session is then required after 1-3 months depending on the severity of the infection.

SWIFT is a medical device that emits a focused microwave signal into the skin in order to eradicate warts, verrucae and papilloma's. It works by placing a special probe and delivering microwave energy directly to the infected skin cells. The microwave energy is emitted in short and sudden bursts at a predetermined depth to ensure it targets only the wart. Generally, most patients require between 3 and 4 treatments, spaced approximately 4 weeks apart. Yet, keep in mind that how many treatments you will require may vary depending on how your body's immune system responds. The SWIFT treatment has an incredible 83% success rate!

ShockWave Therapy applies radial pressure waves into the areas where chronic pain is being experienced (e.g. the heel). The introduction of these waves triggers a healing response which results in reduced pain, new blood vessel formation, reversal of chronic inflammation and an increase in the reabsorption of calcium to promote tissue repair. It is a non-invasive treatment with no side-effects, no recovery time and a 90% improvement rate after only 3-6 sessions.
