Neovela is a convenient, monthly spot-on treatment for cats and kittens. It is indicated for the prevention and control of fleas, mites, intestinal worms like hookworms and roundworms, and heartworms. It also protects cats from ear mites, biting lice, and flea allergy dermatitis. Moreover, it is a waterproof treatment, so there are no chances of the solution being washed off if your cat comes in contact with water. Neovela for cats can be also used on rabbits. It treats ear mites, sarcoptic mange, and cheyletiellosis (Cheyletiella sp.) in rabbits. How does it work? Neovela is a topical flea, worm, and heartworm treatment for cats and kittens. When you apply it on your kitten, the selamectin present in it penetrates their skin and enters the bloodstream. Selamectin present in the bloodstream and tissues prevents heartworms. Selamectin that gets distributed into the skin from the bloodstream kills fleas, flea eggs, flea larvae, and other external cat parasites. Selamectin is also an antihelmintic, so it treats and controls intestinal worms like hookworms and roundworms as well.
