Bayer Kiltix Tick Collar For Dogs Kiltix collar is an easy to use collar that destroys fleas and major types of ticks including brown dog ticks, bush ticks and paralysis ticks. The collar not only destroys ticks but also repels them. The non-irritant collar with insecticidal effect destroys fleas and ticks for 5 months although its effects on paralysis ticks last only for 6 weeks. How does it work? Flumethrin and Propoxur are the active ingredients of Kiltix collar. These ingredients with insecticidal effects destroy fleas and disease causing ticks found on dogs. The collar is designed for 12 weeks and older puppies and dogs. It also repels ticks through the ‘hot foot’ effect. Thus, it prevents new ticks from attaching the pet’s body.
