The optional solar kit comprises a solar panel with stainless steel mounting bracket which can be mounted on a pole or a wall.
The solar panel will operate the gate for 10 operations per day in the lowest sunlight conditions of Hobart so other areas will achieve better results.
The regulator supplied will help keep the battery in good condition and the battery will have 2 days of standby power if there is no sunlight at all.
The Solar panel kit not only eliminates the cost of providing mains power to the operator but also saves money as you are using the power of the sun!
The D2 Turbo is a 12vdc sliding gate operator suitable for domestic gates up to 250kg, battery back up is a standard feature. Advanced engineering polymers and smart design combine to create an operator that runs at a blistering pace of 24m per min (400 mm/sec) - for over 30,000 cycles. That’s around 10 years of moving an average domestic gate. All of the features, functions, modes and settings are done via two dials and a pushbutton. Using an LED and audible feed back to confirm your selections. Nothing could be simpler. An adaptive collision sensing system combined with PE beams ensures that your car and family are kept out of harm’s way. The D2 Turbo has a 24 month warranty for peace of mind.
