Kensington Travel Kensington travel was set up over 13 years ago and held a prominent position on Canning Highway. The office was at the base of the Metro Inn on Canning Highway and it became popular as a talking point because of its 6 ft Singapore Airlines 747 which stood proudly outside on the footpath. The business moved to Monash Avenue in Como approximately 4 years ago and has continued to develop and expand. Keith and Gail owned the business until February 2009 when they sold it to Angelique and Robyn. Both experienced travel agents who were wishing to open their own agency Angelique has worked in the travel industry for more than 30 years during which time she has gained experience in the travel divisions of airlines such as Singapore Airlines, Gulf Air and Qantas (17 years in total). After a 5 year period with a well known travel insurance company as their WA Representative she returned to the retail travel industry. 7 years on and she decided to go into partnership with Robyn. Angelique has travelled widely over the last 30 plus years, visiting more than 20 countries Including areas in Asia The South Pacific, Africa, Europe, USA, Canada and Alaska. Being an avid cruiser (14 so far) has experience and expertise on cruising/ships From 9, 000 ton to over 180, 000 ton. Robyn has worked in the travel industry for 10 years and prior to this worked in customer service roles. Robyn was previously Office Manager employed by two well know travel companies. She has experience with corporate accounts and leisure travel. She has travelled overseas, and can offer advice on Europe, New Zealand, Asia, Mauritius, Fiji.
