Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Churchill is located in a residential / commercial area close to community services as well as local schools and shops. Our centre has been open for 12 years, purpose built, with six rooms. Our main section has five rooms, catering for children from six weeks to five years. Our Kindergarten room is a unique section of the centre which caters specifically for Kindergarten children and Before and After School Care children. Our educators at Goodstart Churchill are qualified early learning professionals who have a great love for children and provide each child with a developmentally appropriate program which helps them learn and grow. Inside, all of the rooms - from Nursery to Kindergarten / Preschool - are all set up in line with an Early Years Learning Framework, with sensory and play based learning opportunities. Colourful, stimulating surrounds ensure the children have the chance to grow and develop through sensory, play-based learning; and we are focused on ensuring the children are ready to take that all important step up to school. Our Storypark platform, as well as regular family nights and emailed newsletters, enable us to stay in close contact with parents and families, ensuring open and clear communication. This also means we can tailor each program to the child’s individual needs, interests and strengths – as well as the strong level of cultural diversity in our centre. Outside, we have age appropriate play spaces and equipment, all geared to enhance the children’s awareness of their surrounds and the greater environment, as well as their understanding of the importance of sustainability. Our grounds have dry creek beds, sandpits, mud kitchen, chicken coops, wooden adaptable structures, dirt pit, swings, vege patches, worm farms and lots of shade.
