Hi my name is Errol Pereira, I started Dovetail furniture in 1996 after coming from England where I also had my own company and employed staff. I studied and trained in England and have got City and Guilds Qualification in Cabinet Making/Machining and Joinery. I started my apprenticeship in 1972 and completed in 1977. Worked for a joinery Company for 12 years and decided to start my own business after I got married and started a family. With the downward turn of employment in England I decided to migrate to Australia with my family in 1994. Worked for a cabinet making company in Osbourne Park just to get the feel of how business is conducted in Australia. Dovetail Furniture was created in 1996 and has relied on word of mouth contact since then thru family, friends and customers. I feel now it is now to move on with modern technology, this is why I am setting up this website. I am proud to mention that my three sons have all worked for me and are very good tradesman unfortunately the two older ones have married and moved on to different parts of Australia with their families and it is now my youngest son Jordan, my partner and myself who run the business.
