Cairns Steel Fabricators Pty Ltd is a locally owned business, established since 1979 and currently employing approximately 140 personnel. This includes boilermakers, fitters, certified welders, riggers, dogmen, crane operators, draftspersons and administration staff. Operating from our 8600m2 modern facility situated on 17000m2 of land within the Cairns Port Industrial area, we have access to all types of transport requirements (e.g. road, rail, air & sea). Combined with our own fully equipped workshop, trucks and cranes, we are able to handle all types of work and fabricate approximately 80-120 tonnes of large steel per week. CSF operates a state of the art blast & painting facility which can handle objects 24m long x 5m high x 6m wide. We have experience in marine, industrial, commercial and architectural painting applications. CSF operates it's own detailing office. Currently we have 6 full time detailers all usingTekla and StruCAD 3D software. CSF details the majority of projects in house. CSF also operates a Townsville office supporting project works being undertaken in the Townsville, western and southern areas of Queensland including Mackay, Rockhampton, Gladstone and others.

Cashcor Engineering is a Cairns based general engineering workshop, providing a specialised service to North Queensland companies in the areas of design and fabrication of steel, stainless steel and aluminium products, section rolling, pipe and tube bending, plate rolling, pressing, guillotine, precision waterjet cutting and Driveline Services. For more than 35 years we have been honing our skills and providing professional workshop and fabrication services to businesses and people of Cairns. We work closely with many large companies but still retain a friendly one-on-one service with our private customers and we always strive to produce only the highest quality products with no compromises made in the fit and finish of all work we do. In 2013 the Cashcor business changed hands with Brett Cahill & Tony Cuda taking over the reigns and injecting a new energy into how the operation and team functioned. Since this changeover process the business has added more services to the repertoire and also managed to keep many of the same team of dedicated and professional staff to keep the wheels turning and the repeat customers happy. The Cashcor name has always been synonymous with producing only the highest quality engineering and fabrication products with a well known reputation for providing a friendly, efficient and prompt service to all of our valued clients and as we further expand our operation in both the size as well as the range of services we offer it will be to keep up with demand and with the growing needs of our customers.
