Goodstart Boonah is a rural centre situated in the outskirts of Boonah, in the Scenic Rim Shire. It can be found at the lower end of Church Street, close to all community conveniences as well as local schools and shops. Goodstart Boonah is well known for its highly qualified team of local educators. Our centre is licenced for 65 children aged six weeks to 12 years. It is open from 6:00am to 6:00pm Monday to Friday, 52 weeks of the year. We are only closed on public holidays. Our centre's courtesy bus service is available for before and after school pick ups from three local schools. It is also available for home pick ups and drop offs for those families with difficulty attending. Our play based, stimulating curriculum is based on the Early Years’ Learning Framework and our rooms – from Nursery to Kindergarten / Preschool – are all geared with this in mind. We also develop colourful, engaging programs accounting for each child’s individual interests, needs and strengths; and with each step we are ensuring the children are ready to take the big step into schooling. This is made simpler through our intuitive Storypark platform, which enables us to maintain consistent and clear communications with families. That means we are better placed to support a child in their learning journey, ensure parents have peace of mind, and time stamp the children’s developments, milestones and achievements. Outside, our playground areas are a balance of natural and manmade elements and play surfaces – with chicken coop, swings, sandpits, dirt pits, natural gardens, a stage, verandahs, vege patch and sustainability areas. We have carefully designed and planned spaces to encourage a stronger understanding of the environment and sustainability – while giving children the scope to explore, play and let their imaginations roam.
