Sports Focus is a not for profit organisation which covers the Loddon Campaspe region, with an office located in Bendigo. Sports Focus' mission statement is "to support community focused organisations in the provision of stronger sport and active recreation environments for ALL" Sports Focus aims to: Facilitate increased participation in sport and active recreation by people and communities. Build the capacity of sport and active recreation providers. Influence the development of healthy and inclusive sport and recreation environments. Promote the benefits of welcoming and inclusive sport and active recreation clubs. Sports Focus facilitates a range of programs within the Loddon Campaspe Region. Sports Focus is an incorporated not for profit association that is governed by a Board of Management. Members of the Board are elected by the organisation's members due to either the skills they possess that are relevant and will enhance the operations of Sports Focus or the career position they hold and the influence they can yield, to achieve the objectives set for Sports Focus. In either case, the Sports Focus Board of Management consists of dedicated community-minded people who want to improve the health and wellbeing of ALL through their participation in sport.
