Birdland Animal Park is a beloved destination for families and animal lovers, with opportunities to hand-feed various animals such as peacocks, emus, deer, kangaroos, ostriches, and parrots. The park boasts friendly and knowledgeable staff, and the fauna and flora are well-maintained. Visitors appreciate the sense of wandering through a botanical garden, with highlights including the Illawarra Flame Trees near the entrance. Unfortunately, some areas of the park, such as the seating and picnic area, appear run down. It is suspected that limited resources were prioritized during and post-covid.
