Melbourne Tractors Group is a family owned and managed business with more than 25 years in the earthmoving, construction and agriculture industries. From humble beginnings, Melbourne Tractors Group opened its doors in 1983 in North Coburg. In the mid 90's Ken Bennett purchased Melbourne Tractors, once it had relocated to Campbellfield. Ken’s background came from mainly agriculture, beginning his career in the industry as a livestock auctioneer and then later becoming the lead salesman for seed drills in the Middle East for John Shearer. At the start of the Melbourne Tractors venture, the business dealt solely in agriculture. Ken and his growing team took the business from strength to strength introducing earthmoving and construction equipment distribution to their attributes and then parts and attachments later on. The team secured dealer rights with industry leading brands including New Holland Construction and Agriculture, Kobelco, Terex and MSB Hammers. The business has expanded over time, and introduced new branches including Ballarat in 2000 and Dandenong and Brisbane (BrisVegas Machinery) in 2008. They continue to grow their relationships with leaders in the construction and agriculture industry.
