Why we all should consider carefully that we are using a spring supplier that cares for you and your cause! Coil springs in reality are a "technical" product. There is lots of reasons that a spring may suit or not suit an application. Likewise there is lots of reasons for spring failure, from faulty material to reasons outside of the springs themselves. Many of us try to buy these products cheap, but in reality, you get what you pay for! And with springs that is most certainly the case! Use a cheap material grade and type, bingo you got failure. Use a improper manufacturing method, and bingo, you've got more failure. So likewise your whole machine, or valve, or tool, or gadget worth lots or little doesn't work properly any more. Yep, the item worth not a lot compared to the total product value has let you down. We must remember, that springs - what ever the type of spring (IE: Compression springs, torsion springs, extension springs, clock springs, motor springs, clip springs, torsion bar springs, beam springs and more) have to move, abosorb energy, and return energy, over and over and over again, while the rest of the product often does not have the same demand on it. So if you are buying springs --- you should ask yourselves the question-- Why have folks and customers upset and uncomfortable over your gadget or machine letting them down, all because of a little spring? It is well worth paying a little extra for a reliable supplier! Prefferably one with experience and that is dedicated to his products and more importantly to you. Springs are all about mechanical energy -- they are very efficient energy providers too, they almost return all of the energy they are given, time and time again. So Paying a little for a good design and good spring supplier can save you hundreds or thousands of dollars of lost time and effort, and save a lot personal stress caused by unhappy customers!
